Introduction

This application note describes a KeeLoq® garage door opener application using the ATA8510 and the WBZ451 devices. The application is equipped with hardware modules and software for both the keyfob and the base station.

The keyfob includes both devices, the WBZ451 Bluetooth® Low Energy controller and the ATA8510 Sub-GHz device. This configuration enables communication with either a Bluetooth Low Energy base station or a classic Sub-GHz base station.
