Introduction

The MCC Melody 8-Bit MDFU Client is a middleware library that is capable of configuring both 8-bit PIC® and AVR® bootloader solutions from a common UI. To properly configure bootloaders for any supported 8-bit device, the 8-Bit MDFU Client library needs to be able to handle different user inputs for each chip architecture. The following sections detail the general design and usage of the 8-bit AVR and PIC UI components given to the user by the 8-Bit MDFU Client library.
