5 Use Case Example
Introduction
This section will discuss a use case for the MCC Melody 8-Bit MDFU Client and how to
implement them using the MPLAB X IDE.
Note: The
example will be utilizing the Microchip Device Firmware Update tool for initiating the
bootloader.
Prerequisites
- MPLAB X IDE 6.20 or later
- MPLAB XC8 2.50 or later
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) 5.5.1 or later
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) Device Libraries AVR MCUs
- MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) Device Libraries PIC10/PIC12/PIC16/PIC18 MCUs
- Microchip PIC18F-Q Series Device Support (1.25.433) or later
- Microchip AVR-Dx Series Device Support (2.5.294) or later
- MCC Melody 8-Bit MDFU Client Library 1.1.0 or later
