9.7.5.5 Device Address
In an I3C system, static address devices are those enhanced from an I2C to an I3C system and that obtain a dynamic address.
Dynamic address devices are developed for an I3C system, and they do not have an I2C static address.
Target devices obtain the dynamic address from the I3CC after they are enabled through any of the address assignment Common Command Codes (CCC) such as ENTDAA, SETDASA, or SETAASA. If required, the application can still program the dynamic address of the targets under special circumstances, such as after exiting the Low-Power mode when the old dynamic address programmed by the I3CC has to be re-programmed.
