10.5 High Speed Bus

The Bus Matrix implements a multi-layer AHB (Advanced High-performance Bus), based on the AHB-Lite protocol, that enables parallel access paths between multiple AHB hosts and clients in a system, therefore increasing the overall bandwidth. The Bus Matrix interconnects up to 16 AHB hosts to up to 16 AHB clients. The normal latency to connect a host to a client is one cycle except for the default host of the accessed client which is connected directly (zero cycle latency).
