23.4.2.1 Initialization
The WDT has enable-protected registers which can be configured only while the WDT is disabled. The WDT is configured by defining the required Time-Out Period bits in the Configuration register (CONFIG.PER). If Window mode operation is desired, the Window Period bits in the Configuration register (CONFIG.WINDOW) must be defined. The Window Enable bit (CTRLB.WEN=1) selects window mode.
When enabling the WDT from the disabled state, the WDT count starts from 0.
