3.2 PC and Smartphone Connections

MPLAB® PICkit™ 5 In-Circuit Debugger can connect with the PC (and MPLAB X IDE or MPLAB IPE) using a USB Type-C cable (see figure). It is recommended that you use the cable that comes with the kit to avoid communication issues.

MPLAB PICkit 5 can also be connected to a BLE Android/iOS smartphone or tablet with an application to support PTG.
