Introduction

The ECC206 is part of Microchip Technology Inc.’s CryptoAuthentication™ product family. This 2-pin device is powered parasitically and supports a single-wire interface. It is specifically designed for disposable and anti-cloning applications where a printed circuit board (PCB) is not required. The device is intended to serve as a companion device and is microcontroller/microprocessor agnostic.
