9 Conclusion
The necessary features required from the PWM peripheral to properly drive a multiphase LLC converter are quite extensive. The peripheral needs to support variable frequency, phase offsets, adaptive edge control, all while synchronizing updates across 12 different PWM generators. Improper configuration could lead to missed or double pulses, incorrect timing updates, out-of-sync PWM signals, etc. This can lead to improper control or damage to the power supply. This document provides the necessary details to implement a single and dual 3-phase interleaved LLC control scheme. All the PWM-related timing and triggering information is presented along with how to update and stop/restart the system. A simplified code example is included to further document the implementation details.
