5.2 Open Loop Gain

Recall from earlier in the Basics of Operational Amplifiers - the operational amplifier is designed to try and null the difference in voltage between its inputs. Open loop gain is the change in output voltage due to a small change in input differential voltage, in the absence of negative or positive feedback.
