6 Troubleshooting

  1. No data: Make sure that the correct COM port and baud rate are selected.
  2. For CAN: If there are some issues with the nodes, the LED will blink red on the PEAK dongle. Usually, this indicates that the bus is in an error state and usually recovers from it.
  3. Monitoring: If a signal is not being plotted, click Reset Time Scale. Check if the buffer is big enough to store all the values. Check if the maximum and minimum values of the signal plot are sufficient for the signal resolution.
  4. All the data from Power Board Visualizer have CRC calculated and appended to the message. Users must take care at the firmware driver side for correct processing of the received messages.
