16.3.1 Enabling the WDT
The WDT can be enabled through hardware or software control. The WDT is enabled if WDTEN=1 in the DEVCFG2 fuse register. If WDTEN=0, the WDT is disabled, and can be controlled using the ON bit (WDTCON[15]).
