This document was written for MPLAB® XC C compilers that no longer require a license for PRO features. For licensed compilers, see previous versions of this document.

In addition, an MPLAB Analysis Tool Suite license will no longer be needed to access all the features of MPLAB Code Coverage. MISRA Check and Thread Safety Check are no longer available through Microchip so please see cppcheck.sourceforge.io/.
