2.6.2 Crystal Oscillator
For Crystal Oscillator connections, refer to the Schematic Checklist section of the data sheet.
The Crystal Oscillator must be positioned as close to the device as possible. Long signal lines can increase the load on the crystal, potentially causing it to malfunction and leading to crosstalk with other system components.
Important: Crystal selection must
be based on the “Crystal Data Sheet” and the Crystal Oscillator Parameters specified
in the XOSC Electrical Specifications section of the Electrical
Specifications chapter.
