5 Visualizer Debug Environment

Visualizer is the next-generation, unified debug environment included with QuestaSim ME. It brings waveform analysis, source tracing, schematic exploration and post-simulation debug together in a single-integrated workspace, replacing the classic graphical debugger. Visualizer supports two modes of operation:

Live debug, where it is attached to a running simulation.
Post-simulation debug, where it analyzes a previously saved database.

This flexibility lets you investigate design behavior either as the simulation runs or after it completes.

The Visualizer has the following highlights:

Available starting with QuestaSim ME 2025.3.
Designed to replace the QuestaSim Classic GUI as the recommended debug environment.
