50.6.4.1.1 Host Write Mode

The MCSPI sends data to a client device only, e.g. an LCD. The limit is given by SPI₂ (or SPI₅) timing. Since it gives a maximum frequency above the output driver maximum frequency (see I/O AC Characteristics), the max SPI frequency is the one from the output driver.
