43.8.1 Comparator Speed Selection

The SP bits are used to select from the available comparator Speed modes. There are multiple High Speed and Low Speed options available to choose from that allow the comparator response time to be changed to minimize power consumption or maximize performance. The Low Speed comparator modes allow for maximum power savings in applications where lower power consumption is more critical than speed. The High Speed modes can be used in applications where comparator performance is more critical than power consumption.
