The In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP) interface on dsPIC33A devices provides access for programming and debugging, but it also presents a potential attack vector if not properly secured. To protect sensitive code, data and configuration, dsPIC33A devices offer mechanisms to block unauthorized external access via ICSP.
