1.2 Hardware Features

  • Daughter cards for the TS1800 include the option for a 100-pin or a 144-pin socket
  • Six 16-pin SPI Flash devices in sockets supporting 1.8V or 3.3V operation (included devices support 3.3V only)
  • USB Type-C® Connectors:
    • Provides additional power to the board and interface connectivity for PKOB and serial input/output or SPI through a USB hub to the TS1800
    • Connects to the TS1800 USB port for USB peripheral access
  • GPIO and I2C headers for optional customization and development
  • The board can be powered using a USB Type-C® cable or an optional jumper with a +5V input pin; neither is included with the Development Board Kit.
  • The EV51H13A socket cards (sold separately) include a preinstalled TS1800 device for board validation checks.
    Important: The device top marking can be used to identify that the device is a TS1800; however, it does not indicate whether the device type is TFLX or TCSM. Care should be taken to avoid mixing up devices. The Trust Platform Design Suite (TPDS) can be used to identify the device type. TPDS tools verify the device type before programming.

    Supported device markings include:

      Note: xx represents the TS1800 revision identifier (e.g., A, B, B2)
