10.2 Read Memory Command (HCI-ISDAP Opcode - 0x0110)
This HCI-ISDAP command is embedded in the data portion of the HCI ACL data packet, allowing the host MCU to read values from the internal Flash memory of the BM70/71 module. The BM70/71 module contains a Harvard memory architecture (separate code and data address spaces) with segmented memory. The bank/segments in the code and data space are 64 Kbytes in size. The programmer can use the memory type and memory sub type parameters in this command, to indicate the read memory values are from the BM70/71 module code space or data space.
- Most Significant bit (MSb), 16 bits of the address value – To identify one of the four memory bank/segments for code space or one of the two memory banks for data space
- Least Significant bit (LSb), 16 bits – To address a specific memory location with the memory bank/segment
