10.4 Write Continue Command (HCI-ISDAP Opcode – 0x0001)
The HCI-ISDAP command allows the host MCU to write values to the internal memory of the BM70/71 module. The write continue command uses a smaller packet with less overhead to help improve programming. The BM70/71 module must receive a successful response to the write command (0x0111) message before processing this HCI-ISDAP command. If the user does not follow the proper message sequence, there is a possibility of undefined device operation. For more details on understanding how this HCI-ISDAP command fits in with the programming flow, refer to Modifying Configuration Parameters.
If the host MCU wants to terminate write continue operations, clearing the Continue flag in the HCI-ISDAP data length field of the HCI-ISDAP command completes the write continue operations. The BM70/71 module programs the data from this final write continue message and terminates sequential writes.
