5.1 RX Setup
This section describes application-relevant information for the use of the RF circuits within the ATA8210/15. In a UHF system, the frequency planning and the frequency accuracy are of importance. See Frequency Accuracy in System Design from Related Links. The user can choose the frequency in a wide range. Not all variations are reasonable due to the chip architecture. For more details on the limitations, see Fractional-N Divider and SDM from Related Links. The RF circuits of the IC must be matched to the antenna. Use the High-Q Surface Mounted Devices (SMD) on the board to match the LNA inputs. The matching components for the application board are summarized for a wide variety of frequencies. See Application Board Design from Related Links. For more details on the data of these matching devices, see Impedance Matching of RFIN from Related Links.
