3.2 Increasing the Driver Capability of the Client

Communication may become stuck in a multi-client application if the transceiver/receiver continues to drive other clients in the application. If the host attempts to communicate with another client, the signal level on the MISO line may be too weak to be identified as the right potential on the host site. This weak signal may be due to the limited driver capability of the other client. If the driver of the second client is too weak, the signal level on the MISO line will be driven from the Microchip device. One way to overcome this is to enhance the driver capability of the other client. In that case, the signal level from the second client will become stronger, allowing the host to read the correct data.
