2.2 Performing the External Antenna Cal

The end product with all the requirements is in Requirements for External Antenna Cal. Establish a USB-to-UART cable connection between UART1 of the module and the Test PC as shown in the following figure.

The following are the serial terminal (such as TeraTerm) settings on the test PC:
  • Baud rate: 230400
  • 8 bits
  • No parity
  • 1 stop bit
  • No flow control
Then, use the terminal prompt to run the following command:
iconfig --postCal
Return Value:
  • “done”: Upon successful execution of the command, this return value is provided.

Example:

iconfig --postCal 1

External Antenna Calibration information is stored in NVM after executing this command.

When the external antenna calibration is complete, the HUT mode must be disabled to boot in Mission Mode using the following command:
iconfig --goMissionMode
