9.1.1.1 Application Block

Application block is where the user’s firmware resides by default. Default settings of the Configuration bits (BBEN = 1 and SAFSZ = 0xFF) assign all memory in the program Flash memory area to the application block. The WRTAPP Configuration bit is used to write-protect the application block.
