3.1.4 Battery Unit
A 3V CR1220 battery can be placed in the BT1 battery holder to permanently maintain the VDDBU voltage. This function allows the user to shut down the MPU and the system, thus entering a Low-Power mode, and still keep the custom configuration that was previously set in the MPU backup area.
Jumper JP2 must be in place for proper operation of the MPU. Remove it and replace it to bring the MPU back to the initial configuration. This clears the BSC_CR and the content of the SECURAM, used to store all boot configuration related packets in OTP Emulation mode.
Note: The board will reset if the jumper is removed during normal
board operation.
