4.4.5 Programming Verification

The verification is performed by reading back the executive memory space and comparing it against the copy held in the programmer’s buffer.

The verification process is shown in Figure 4-7. The lower word of the instruction is read, and then the lower byte of the upper word is read and compared against the instruction stored in the programmer’s buffer. Refer to Reading Executive Memory for implementation details of reading executive memory.
