The Microchip SAMA7G54 SOM Series is a high-performance System-On-Module series based on the ultra-low power Arm Cortex-A7 CPU-based embedded microprocessor (MPU) SAMA7G54. The SAMA7G54 SOM Series is certified for industrial operating conditions over the [-40°C to 85°C] industrial temperature range.
The SAMA7G54 SOM Series operates at a maximum CPU operating
frequency of 1 GHz and a maximum bus speed of 533 MHz and features:
- DDR3L SDRAM memory configuration with 2-Gbit memory size
- 8-bit NAND Flash memory with 4-Gbit memory size (MX30LF4G28AD-XKI or MT29F4G08ABAFAH4-IT:F)(1)
- 64 Mbits of QSPI Flash memory (SST26VF064BEUIT-104I/MF)
The SAMA7G54 SOM Series device is a 190-pin, 0.65-mm pad pitch module, 38 mm x 30 mm in size.
The device offers an extensive peripheral set, system control and up to 113 I/Os featuring:
- Up to 12 Flexible Serial Communication Controllers (FLEXCOM)
- Up to 8 ADC inputs
- Up to 6 CAN interfaces
- Up to 2 SD/MMC, SDIO interfaces
- Serial interfaces such as Octal SPI, up to 2 SSC, up to 2 I²S multichannel audio interfaces
- CMOS camera interface
- One Gigabit Ethernet MAC supporting RGMII, MII and RMII (GMAC0) and one 10/100 Ethernet MAC supporting MII and RMII (GMAC1)
- Up to 8 digital microphones and SPDIF interface
