The dsPIC33 has an internal CAN-FD Controller with directly connected DMA Channels. ATA6563 supports CAN FD and communication speeds up to 5 Mbps. A standard DB-9 connector is used together with a PEAK CAN dongle to interface with a remote PC, in this case.
