1.4 Regulator Selection During SleepWalking

Microchip Cortex-M processor-based MCUs employ different voltage regulator architectures to balance power consumption and wake-up performance during SleepWalking. The Power Manager (PM) automatically selects the appropriate regulator based on the Sleep mode, peripheral activity, and user configuration. The following sections describe the regulator behavior across different device families as an example.
