7.2.6.11 24-bit Packed Mode

To optimize the size of the system memory buffer for audio samples when 24-bit data are processed, the Packed mode compresses the received 24-bit audio samples into the Receiver Holding register (I2SMCC_RHL/RxR) or decompresses the audio samples from the Transmit Holding register (I2SMCC_THL/RxR). This mode is valid for audio sample sizes of 24/20/18 bits (I2SMCC_MRA.DATALENGTH=1/2/3).
