CRR Response Control

The I3CC handles the CRR response to the target through the CRR_REJECT control of the corresponding DAT entry.

The I3CC responds to the CRR with NACK followed by a directed DISEC CCC command with the RESTART condition to the CRR-initiated target. The I3CC sets the IBI_STS field as NACK to indicate to the application that the I3CC has rejected the received CRR. The application can optionally set the CRR Reject Notify Control to get an IBI Status for a rejected CRR. Otherwise, the I3CC moderates the IBI Status generation for rejected CRR.

If the received IBI ID (CRR) does not match any of the dynamic address entries of the DAT table, then the I3CC sends a NACK response and generates IBI status to the application. The I3CC does not send a disable event command and expects the application to take necessary action if the unknown device repeatedly interrupts. In this case, the generation of the IBI status is independent of the CRR Reject Notify Control settings.
