3.5 PMECC Configuration Parameters

The NAND Flash boot procedure can use PMECC and PMERRLOC to detect and correct errors during NAND Flash read operations. The ROM memory embeds the Galois field tables used by the BCH algorithm to compute ECC. There is no need to embed or generate them in the user's application if an internal PMECC or PMERRLOC is required during the next stages. These Galois field tables are mapped in the MPU device’s internal ROM just after the ROM code, as shown in the following figure.
