47.4 Enrollment
Key generation requires an Activation Code (AC) which is ‘helper’ data that is essential for reconstructing the key from the SRAM power-up state. The generation of the AC data is referred to as enrollment. The AC only needs to be generated once and can be stored in any non-volatile memory. Typically a new key is generated for each enrollment, therefore it is critical that the integrity of the AC data is retained when stored in non-volatile memory.
Note: The user software is responsible for
enrolling the device.
