4 Porting ATWINC15x0 to Microchip Libraries for Applications

This section describes the porting and integration guidelines of the ATWINC15x0 in the Microchip Libraries for Applications (MLA). The MLA framework provides a software solution for PIC16 and PIC24 devices. The PIC16 and PIC24 devices have ATWINC15x0 driver support.

This section describes adding ATWINC15x0 support with PIC16/PIC24 MCU using MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC). It is recommended to use the ASF3 latest driver for porting. This section also explains the procedure to add the ASF3 ATWINC15x0 driver into the MLA standalone project.

This section describes the PIC24FJ128GA310 plug-in module (PIM) and the ATWINC1500 PICtail module using the Explorer 16/32 Development Board. The user can create similar projects based on their hardware design.
