General Description

Microchip’s VC-870 Crystal Oscillator (XO) is a quartz-stabilized square wave generator with a CMOS output. The VC-870 is a fundamental oscillator that results in very low jitter performance and a monolithic IC that improves reliability and reduces cost. The VC-870 operates off a 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V supply in a hermetically sealed 1.6mm x 1.2mm ceramic package.
