2.1 PDI Interface

The AVR ATxmega32E5 can be programmed and debugged via the PDI Interface. Atmel-ICE is highly recommended for programming and debugging the kit, but any tool compatible with the PDI interface can also be used. The PDI Interface is described in the table below.
