12.11.3 Changing the Maximum PHY Link Rate Settings
The Maximum PHY Link Rate displays the maximum link speed between the controller and the
drives connected to the connector. All the connectors can have different link speeds or
can have the same link speed. This setting allows to change the PHY link rate of the
connector on Adaptec Smart Storage Controller. The supported PHY link rates are 6 Gbps,
12 Gbps and 24 Gbps.
Note: The PHY link rates will be displayed
only if they are supported by the controller.
To change the maximum PHY link rate settings from the connector level:
- In the Enterprise View, select a connector.
- On the ribbon, in the Controller
group, click Set Properties.
The Set Properties window opens.
From the Maximum Phy Link Ratedrop-down list, change the maximum PHY link rate setting for the connector to 6 Gbps, 12 Gbps or 24 Gbps.
