5 Approve Verification Units for Production

  1. When verification units are received:
    1. Test authentication flows
    2. Validate certificates and keys
    3. Confirm that device behavior matches expectations
Important: This is the final validation checkpoint before production.
  2. Return to the custom part number in MicrochipDIRECT.
  3. Based on the validation results, select Approve or Reject.

Approval authorizes Microchip to use your secure exchange data and begin full production provisioning.

Rejection requires the customer to add a comment to the support ticket stating the reason. If configuration or functionality changes are required, a new support case must be submitted. Once the issue is resolved, the MicrochipDIRECT project will be re-enabled to place an order for new verification units.
