9.6.1 Requirements

To utilize the MTB Trace feature:

• You will need a project loaded with an Arm® Cortex® project device that supports MTB Trace. If your project device does not support MTB (e.g., SAMV71), a message dialog will pop up stating that the device does not support MTB. Check you device data sheet for details.
• You will need to start a debug session. Otherwise all buttons and other controls on the MTB window will be disabled. If you hover over a control, a tool tip will pop up to remind you that MTB only works in a debug session.
