This tutorial provides a guided example of working with an MPLAB X IDE project.

The example project will use a switch to control the LED flashing rate. After downloading and opening the project in MPLAB X IDE, how to set/change project properties and run the project is explained. Debug features such as setting breakpoints, stepping through code, viewing variable values, and viewing/changing register and memory values are demonstrated.
