3.1.5 Low-Power Operation
Take the following considerations to achieve the lowest power consumption possible:
- MCP9808 in Low-Power mode (shutdown)
- Set bit 8 (SHDN) in the 16-bit configuration register (address 0x01)
- VEML3328 powered off
- Send shut down command (low byte 0x11, high byte 0x80) to command register (address 0x00)
- ATECC608N in sleep mode
- Send the sleep command (0x01) to the ATECC608B
- GM02S in Low-Power mode
- Low-Power mode is active by default,
- To enable/disable
Low-Power mode, issue the following AT commands:
AT+CFUN=5 AT+SQNHWCFG="lpm"[,("enable","disable")] AT^RESET
- The module must be set to “Manufacturing Mode” before applying the AT command, and the settings are latched by issuing the reset AT command.
- Set unused AVR128DB48 I/O pins as input and disable the digital input
buffer
- Make sure to disable PB3 as it is used to enable the circuitry for system voltage measurement
- AVR128DB48 in Power-Down sleep mode
- Enable LOWQ® LDO mode for the 3.3V regulator (MIC3385) by setting PB4 high
