The USB-C® port is connected to the USB Type-A connector and acts as a host.

In Host mode, both the USB Host ports B and C each have a 500 mA high-side power switch output from a MIC2026 device. This setup supports both self-powered and bus-powered applications. The USBIO_B_0.USBIO_EN and USBIO_C_0.USBIO_EN signals control the current-limiting power switch MIC2026, which in turn supplies power to a client device. The USB specification requires that bus-powered USB 2.0 devices must not exceed a current limit of 500 mA. To comply with this, the MIC2026 restricts the current and indicates an overcurrent condition with the USBIO_B_0.USBIO_OC and USBIO_C_0.USBIO_OC signals.
