3.6 Stimulus Control Language (SCL)

Stimulus Control Language (SCL) is a software language used to inject values onto pins or into data memory locations during execution of the MPLAB X Simulator.

In general, there is no need to code in SCL; the Stimulus GUI will do the work for you. However, if you are interested in finding out more about SCL, go to MPLAB X IDE and select Help>Release Notes>User’s Guides>SCL User’s Guide.

The document may also be found in the docs directory of the MPLAB X IDE installation.
