8 8. Module: PWRM

If the power monitor module is enabled via the FPWRM configuration bit, during device programming/ICSP entry, the power monitor may trigger a reset event during the loading of the configuration fuses, and an incorrect DEVID message may appear.

Workaround

Select Yes in the message prompt or the equivalent of 'Yes' in the programming environment, and the device will program as expected.
