8 8. Module: PWRM

If the power monitor module is enabled via the FPWRM configuration bit, during device programming/ICSP entry, the power monitor may trigger a reset event during the loading of the configuration fuses, and as a result, an incorrect DEVID message may appear.

Workaround

Select Yes in the message prompt or the equivalent of 'Yes' in the programming environment, and the device will program as expected.
