4.2 Parameter Settings

The parameter settings area allows the user to adapt the UWB settings to the customer needs. A description of these parameters is given in the user guides: ATA8352 Impulse-Radio Ultra-Wideband (IR-UWB) Transceiver User's Guide (DS50003125) or ATA5352 Impulse-Radio Ultra-Wideband (IR-UWB) Transceiver User's Guide (DS50003111).

  • Click Read Parameter to get the parameter settings from the demo kit.
  • Click Write Parameter to store parameter settings in the demo kit. Wait for the operation to finish before using the Read Parameter or Write Parameter buttons.
  • To change one or more parameters, select the specific pre-configured setting from the drop-down menu, insert the desired value(s) to the text fields or use the slider.
Note: After programming the demonstration firmware, a set of parameter settings must be written to the associated SAM C21 Xplained Pro, followed by a manually triggered system reset. For more details, refer to Additional Features.
