5.2 Gen1 Products
Static behavior can be enabled via the Transparent mode. This mode can be enabled in EEPROM
address 0x0018 (TC2 Register). Bit 0 activates the transparent function and Bit 1 and Bit 2
define the used mode:
- In TX Transparent mode – The RF signal is derived from the digital level at PC4. The I/O configuration for this pin must be input.
- In RX Transparent mode – PC2 is used as Transparent Raw data Path A (TRPA) output. Therefore, the I/O pin must be configured to output. The TRPA functionality can be enabled in EEPROM address 0x010C (RDOCR) Bit 3. There are more transparent signals available that will be enabled at different phases of the reception. The changes become active after the next restart of the system. For more details, refer to the corresponding data sheet.
