4.1 Connecting Gigabit Ethernet Cable
To connect the Gigabit Ethernet cable, perform the following steps:
To remove the metal gland from the PDS-204GCO/AC unit, turn it counterclockwise. Keep the dust cap for future use.
Insert the cable through metal gland, rubber seal, and pressure fingers and plug into the port number 1.

Secure all glands till the rubber gasket is tightly closed around the cable.

- 2: Metal gland
- 3: Rubber seal
- 4: Pressure fingers
Note:
- For easier installation, start with port number 1 assembly (DATA & PWR 1), and then connect the Uplink port.
- Use cable Cat 5e or above outdoor grade.
- Secure the gland until the rubber gasket is firmly closed around the cable.
- The PDS-204GCO/AC switch is not shipped with Ethernet cable and RJ45 male connectors.
