3.6 Write Calibration Training Fail

Possible Reason
Marginal issues on CA, Write DQ/DQS, or Read DQ/DQS. When the Write Calibration training fails, a dialog box appears as shown in the following figure.

Workaround
Configure any one of the following parameters to a different value using the MSS Configurator when the Write Calibration training fails:
  • Memory CA ODT
  • FPGA DQ Drive
  • FPGA DQS Drive
  • FPGA DQ ODT
  • FPGA DQS ODT
  • Memory Pull-Down Drive Strength
The following figure shows the configuration of DQ/DQS drive or ODT in the DDR Controller tab.
